I do not carry what has been. I do not carry what is unfinished. I do not carry tomorrow. I place it all into Your hands and become still in You. You watch over me. You cover me. You remain present. You are my refuge and my fortress, and I dwell securely in You. So I do not live in fear—I rest in the safety that comes from Your presence. You give me peace. A deep and steady peace that settles my mind, quiets my thoughts, and allows my body to rest without disturbance. And I rest in this truth—You love me. Because of Your love, I am safe. Because of Your love, I am held. Because of Your love, I can lie down without fear and rest deeply in Your presence. Jesus, let this night be covered by Your peace. Let my mind be still. Let my body rest. Let my spirit remain secure in You. I dwell in safety. Jesús, descanso en Tu paz y duermo sin temor bajo Tu cuidado esta noche.
