  • Iran War Escalates, TSA Workers Unpaid, and Millions Protest Nationwide. Episode 10 Season 3
    2026/03/28

The Iran War, TSA Emergency, and the No Kings March:

In this 10th‑episode special, Dr. Long unpacks the political turmoil reshaping the U.S. and the world. He breaks down the escalating Iran war, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and the economic shockwaves hitting American households. He also examines President Trump’s emergency order to pay TSA workers despite DHS remaining unfunded, raising questions about constitutional overreach.

The episode also explores new data showing young Republicans distancing themselves from MAGA, driven by economic frustration and a desire for stability. Dr. Long closes with a look at the nationwide No Kings March, now one of the largest protest movements in modern U.S. history.

  • LaGuardia Crash, DHS Shutdown, ICE at TSA: A Full Breakdown
    2026/03/24

    Episode 9 Season 3

In this episode, Dr. Long breaks down the escalating crisis at U.S. airports as TSA staffing shortages, DHS funding battles, and the Trump administration’s decision to deploy ICE agents collide. With security lines stretching past three hours and airports reporting up to 50% call‑outs, the situation has become a national flashpoint. Dr. Long unpacks the political motivations behind the ICE deployment, the safety concerns raised by experts, and the broader implications for civil liberties and public trust.

The episode also covers the tragic Air Canada Express crash at LaGuardia, growing concerns about aviation oversight, and the alarming rise in aviation incidents since Trump’s second term began. Dr. Long connects these events to systemic underfunding, weakened oversight, and political brinkmanship.

Later in the episode, the focus shifts to Ohio, where drag icon Nina West testifies against a proposed drag performance ban. Dr. Long explores how “America First” rhetoric has drifted from national stability toward cultural policing, raising questions about political priorities in a time of economic strain and global conflict.

  • The Iran War, the SAVE Act, and GOP Resignations. A Black, Queer Perspective - Episode 8 Season 3
    2026/03/13

In this episode, we discuss the tragic loss of additional lives in the Trump administration’s war with Iran after an air‑refueling tanker crashed, killing all six service members on board. We also examine the administration’s continued spread of misinformation about civilian deaths in the conflict, including the deaths of women and children.

While the country remains at war, national attention is being pulled toward unrelated political narratives. We break down how the administration’s shifting focus from the Epstein files to the SAVE Act is shaping public discourse. The SAVE Act would nationalize certain aspects of federal elections and shift identification requirements that states have historically controlled. Critics argue that these changes disproportionately affect women and people of color.

We also look at the growing number of Republicans leaving politics altogether. Many GOP members are expressing fatigue with ongoing loyalty tests, threats of primary challenges, and the pressure to align with the Trump White House. This episode offers a grounded, accessible analysis of a turbulent political moment — from the perspective of a queer Black Midwesterner navigating the news with honesty and care.

  • The Iran War Nobody Wants: Civilian Casualties, Congress, and the Hidden Agenda - Ep 7 S 3
    2026/03/07

News from the point of view of a queer Black Midwestern man. This week, we’re breaking down the escalating war in Iran, the political fallout at home, and the congressional testimony happening quietly in the background.

In this episode, we examine the growing war in Iran — a conflict most Americans do not support. We discuss the long-term consequences of another Middle East war, the financial cost, the human cost, and the level of suffering leadership appears willing to tolerate. Congress has effectively given the president permission to move forward, and even some former MAGA voices are calling the Iran operation anti-American.

Reports from the region suggest that American missiles may have killed more than 100+ girls at an Iranian school. We talk about what this means for global perception, national security, and the moral weight of U.S. foreign policy decisions.

Meanwhile, depositions continue in Washington. The Clintons are testifying before Congress, addressing questions about their alleged connections to Epstein. Why does Hilary Clinton have to take the blame for the egregious behaviors of rich, powerful, violent men? Clock it, tea sippers.

  • SOTU 2026 Breakdown: Clinton Hearings, ICE Training Scandal & 1970s Segregation History
    2026/02/28

    Episode 6 · Season 3

In this episode, we unpack the fallout from the regime’s State of the Union address — a speech filled with familiar talking points, unanswered questions, and a noticeable silence around the violence and deaths caused by federal law enforcement since the start of the year. We also look at the political tension inside the chamber, from Ilhan Omar’s exchanges to the Democrats who chose to boycott the address entirely.

Next, we turn to Capitol Hill, where the Clintons testified before the House Oversight Committee. Hillary Clinton answered every question put in front of her, offering little new information about the long‑running allegations surrounding the so‑called “PDF ring.” Former President Clinton testified on Friday, and more leaks and committee releases are expected over the weekend.

We then examine new concerns inside immigration enforcement. A former ICE lawyer has come forward, alleging that training standards have been stripped down — removing legal knowledge from recruits and creating space for illegal directives to be carried out. This may help explain why U.S. citizens continue to be wrongfully detained.

Finally, we take a moment to look back at the past: the busing of Black children, segregation, and the discrimination that shaped the 1970s. Understanding that history helps us understand the policies and patterns we’re still fighting today.

  • SCOTUS Hands Down a Major Decision & Are Aliens Real?- Episode 5 Season 3
    2026/02/21

Hey, Tea Sippers! This week, we’re breaking down one of the biggest legal headlines of the year. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that Trump‑era tariffs were illegal — so what does that actually mean for everyday people, for trade, and for our neighbors in Canada who’ve been watching this closely?

We also look at major developments in the U.K., where the former Prince Andrew has been arrested following new information from the Epstein files. These documents raise questions about state secrets, public accountability, and the growing list of well‑known figures connected to the case.

In media news, Savannah Chrisley made headlines after defending Donald Trump and responding to a racist video involving the Obamas. Her comments sparked strong reactions, including from The View hosts, and we unpack why this moment resonated so widely.

Finally, we discuss the timing and impact of the sone to be released “alien files,” and how major disclosures can shift public attention during politically intense moments.

This show brings news and political analysis from the perspective of a Queer, Black Midwesterner — grounded, informed, and connected to the issues shaping our communities

  • Let’s Get Into That Political Tea, Again. Episode 2 - Season 3
    2026/02/07

Let’s Get Into That Political Tea. Episode 2 - Season 3

Get your mugs ready, Tea Sippers — we’re diving into a fresh pot. This episode kicks off with a look at the origins of Black History Month and how its purpose has evolved, expanded, and been reclaimed over generations.

From there, the political tea is piping. Recent racist posts circulating on Trump’s social platform sparked immediate backlash across major media outlets, while his allies insist the outrage is misplaced and that he wasn’t the one who posted it. The fallout from the Epstein files continues to ripple, raising new questions about accountability and the public figures who still choose to stand by him — history will remember their choices.

Across the Atlantic, even the monarchy is taking action as investigations and title removals shake up long‑protected institutions. Back home, the Super Bowl halftime show is stirring debate, and Bad Bunny used his Grammy moment to call out the regime and double down on the issues he’s been championing.

We’re also unpacking the growing national conversation around marijuana policy. Will decriminalization finally gain traction across the Midwest? Wisconsin lawmakers remain split, and the political divide is as loud as ever.

Pour a cup and settle in — the tea is hot, the stakes are high, and we’re breaking it all down.
