Lawrence is calm, smart and a positive presence in today’s world of turmoil and disbelief. I say that after a wonderful hour with him in which he shared an extremely reasonable and entertaining view of his very accomplished life thus far. In addition to a 50 year career as an extremely entertaining print journalist, he also worked on radio, published books, created a successful board game and is an Australia Day ambassador. Most importantly he holds solid family values and is totally appreciative of what life has brought him.

John Thorn is the penultimate musician and entertainer. Sara Rabin is beautiful, smart, high energy, fun and also a Rabbi’s wife. She was born and raised in America, one of ten children. Her father was a Rabbi and although it was not something she thought of for herself, she does a wonderful job of it. Far from what most people think of as a Rabbi’s wife, she and her husband Daniel have brought energy and innovation into Australian synagogues. They work as a team and truly motivate participation. They use common sense to create programs for the elderly as well as recently launching a great space where younger Jews looking to meet a partner can enjoy socializing.
