  • Dixie House: The Gear Guide and Our Private Investigation
    2026/04/08

The Dixie House sits in St. Augustine with a history that doesn’t scream “haunted” at first glance — but the stories inside it do. We were told there are multiple spirits tied to the house, including a child spirit in the bathroom, a haunted doll kept sealed away, and even a possible portal. There’s also a claim that the house is connected to one of St. Augustine’s most notoriously haunted sites, which raises the question: is this place active on its own… or part of something bigger? So we booked a two-hour private investigation and went in.

🧰 The gear: what it’s designed to detect and what it can’t prove

🕯️ The investigation: what happened when we tried to separate creepy from credible

  • 88. Ghost Stories and Silent Ground: Louisiana Plantations
    2026/02/25

In this episode, we’re talking about the kind of horror that doesn’t need jump scares to hit hard. We’re examining how history lingers in a place when the records are incomplete, the legends are loud, and the silence does a lot of work. Not to “prove” anything, but to sit in the tension between what’s documented, what’s repeated, and what people swear they’ve felt.
