 Trey Knowles: Risala 16 - Open Judgment How can I rescue those who are being led away to death, even when it is by their own choice? To show partiality in judgment is not good. Whoever says to the guilty, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by people and denounced by nations. Therefore, I am testifying against my neighbor with cause. What I see today seems even worse than Sodom and Gomorrah; even Abraham would not be able to negotiate. Look at the nations that say they are Christian Gentiles—judge for yourself based on the Word of God. What do you see? The depraved minds of people are fanning the flames through advertising and influencing their sinful lifestyles on children through television and other media channels. The people of the nations that do such things deserve to be judged. I am reminded of the words of my Lord in Matthew 10:15: “Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.” For I tell you, if a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. As it is written in Leviticus 20:13. Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22-24 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Yeshua and by the Spirit of our God. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. As it is written in Romans 1:26-28 We know that the law is good when it is used properly.We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine. As it is written in 1 Timothy 1:8-10 But at the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, as it is written in Mark 10:6-9 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. As it is written in Corinthians 7:2 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. بِئْسَمَا ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ فَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ عَلَىٰ غَضَبٍۢ ۚ وَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌۭ مُّهِينٌۭ ٩٠ Surah Al-Baqarah - 90 Miserable is the price they have sold their souls for—denying Allah's revelation and resenting Allah for granting His grace to whoever He wills of His servants! They have earned wrath upon wrath. And such disbelievers will suffer a humiliating punishment. I ask you: Am I correct in my judgment, or should I be considered a liar? Tell me what you see?
